Same place, oven connection whoever installed this didn't want to use cable inlet, but rather cut the cover!

I'd hope those were both DIY warrior jobs.

The 1st is sort of common, the second make me laugh- how can anyone so kin stupid, spend so much time (cutting with a wee hacksaw), and all because they missed the very obvious cable access- Maybe they thought that was for a water feed

Or some side cutters with bits of conduit pushed over the handles for extra leverage .

My £55 piano cutter from lindstrome (sp) did a perfect cut on MT in the old days of making sets for Cat5 runs
