Rug on carpet, moves when walking on

Hi,

Every day or so I have to move the rugs in the hallway and livingroom as each time they are walked on they move in the direction of the piles of the carpet. I have been advised to use double sided tape but I suspect this would damage the carpet when removing.

Is there any product out there that prevents this happening?
