Hi All

Over the last week or so I have started to hear a rumbling noise in the morning when I first turn on the shower or sink tap in my ensuite bathroom. It lasts for approx. 15 seconds and then stops and then I don't tend to hear it for the rest of the day if either is used again. I also don't ever hear this noise in my main bathroom or kitchen when turning on the water.

As the noise is heard when either the shower or sink tap are turned on I am assuming it is not an issue with these but perhaps a pipe or pressure issue? Has anyone any idea what this could be and what could be done to remedy it?

Probably important to note that my ensuite bathroom was renovated at the end of last year (everything completely replaced) so maybe something during this work is causing it?

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what this could be and what could maybe be done to fix it before contacting a plumber to come and look at it.

Thanks

I think you'll find that you've got an airlock in the system. If the noise stops when you open and close various taps, that's your problem.
It's to do with the changes that were made I'm sure. Ask an old plumber to have a look at it. The old guys just know this stuff. Sorry young guns, but you know it's true!
Best of luck!
