Hi all,

I’ve got a number of Hue lights dotted around the garden. At the moment, the cables are running across the flowerbeds and the grass in one place, and so I’d like to bury these if at all possible. I’ve been toying with the idea of running the cable through 25mm either galvanised or PVC conduit, just to avoid an errant spade managing to find the cable a few years down the line. Is there anything I need to consider particularly? I’m not overly concerned about making the cable weatherproof, but equally want to ensure I’m not doing anything silly (i.e. at the bottom of a run, I could imagine water pooling in the conduit, and wouldn’t expect the cable should be submersed indefinitely?)

I may well be overthinking the whole thing, but would always rather plan for any possible mishap before starting!

Many thanks all!!

Philips Hue (proprietary I think) Low Voltage cabling. I have the 5m lengths mostly, and would look to join any connectors above ground again if required.
