I'd quite like to fit a Sonoff NSPanel Pro touch panel next to our front door but I have a query about getting power to it. I won't be undertaking the electrics myself but I just wanted to see if it's feasible before I buy the device and contact the electrician. The device needs live and neutral and doesn't act as a switch itself so I was planning on fitting it just above the current switch in the picture. Would this be as simple as running a new power cable up from the plug socket wiring below?

Thanks!

Have you looked in the switch to see what's there?

Just to mention, you'll need at least a 35mm back box for the Sonoff - they're pretty deep units.

There's no neutrals to any wall switches in our 1996 home sadly, I wish there was.

I think I could get a 35mm backbox in there, even if I need to make space for one. Although since posting this I've been told by the other half that we "don't need a screen there" so I suspect this won't progress any further :ROFLMAO:
