Hello there!
I am running a new 40mm waste from a shower. The plan is to run it into the side boss into the soil pipe.
It all seemed so simple. Drill out the boss, pop in the 40mm adaptor. Job done.
BUT, now it seems that the profile of the boss moulding has been shaved back and I am concerned that there will not be enough depth to support the rubber adaptor and (or) the adaptor will go too far into the soil pipe which may cause blocks in the future. See picture.
In your opinion, will I be OK putting the waste in there, or is there another way that you experts know about?
Thanks for your advice.
