Still trying to tackle issues of
- running water noises through the boiler
- trickling noises through the boiler
- gurgling sounds usually when turning on
- pump making fizzing noises
- potentially cavitating in the pump
The pump has been tried on 1 and 2 with no difference apart from a 22 min run time on 1 and 30min run time on 2 (before it starts cycling).
The system is actually running perfect apart from these noises.
I've bled all the radiators, the auto air vent works. Boiler is 14 years old and I live in a hard water area. It kettles a little.
I've bled a radiator that crackles at in flow valve and a tiny bit of air came out, I decided to bleed more water and try it at 1 bar, once opened up the water came out not as a trickle but foaming and bubbling into my container. I was expecting a stream but it was bursting out and bubbling up.
Any ideas what else I can try / do?
Sealed system with 15-50/60 grundfos pump, ideal classic ff380.
