RWB7 programme question

Hi, I am renting an apartment with a Siemens RWB7 timer. I also have a thermostat in a hallway. I found the manual for RWB7 ans it says that it has 3 programmes(daily, weekday/weekends and every day different). But I want thermostat to control the heating not the programmes. How do I do that?

The thermostat does control the heating

Press the select till it goes to on. The turn the stat up and down as an when.

So it doesn't matter which programme I set on RWB7?
