Safety Electrical Bonding

Hi

Please can someone tell me if the 'Safety Electrical Bonding' includes 'Gas Pipes'?

i.e. Should I clamp an earth connectin from the water pipes to the gas pipe? Is it normal/neccessary/safe to do this?

This is in the utility room with the mains gas pipe coming through from the metre feeding straight into the boiler,then the hot and cold feed to the sink/drainer unit.

Yes, the bonding should be by the meter, before any tee's. can't remember if it is within 300 or 600mm though.

Should I clamp an earth connectin from the water pipes to the gas pipe?

The gas pipe should be earthed to the MET //www.diynot.com/wiki/electrics:main_equipotential_bonding not simply cross bonded to the water pipes.
