Hi

The dehumidifier in my loft didn't cut-out and leaked. As a result a small-ish area of ceiling paper in my (newly decorated) lounge has sagged.

Can anyone recommend the best way of either replacing a small section of ceiling paper (wall doctor) or re-sticking the current paper back onto the ceiling.

Thanks,
Tom

If there is an "edge" in the sag then you could dilute a bit of PVA with water and put it in a squirt bottle, spray behind the paper and smooth out.

Or put it in a syringe and shoot up...

Sorry - stick it through the paper - a small hole is not likely to be seen.

Either trick should work, but use wallpaper paste not PVA.

Iif you get PVA on the face of the paper you will soon be posting a thread "Why doesn't emulsion paint stick to patches on my ceiling" ;)
