We have had a shower fitted above the bath and the area around the bath has been tiled. The shower arm is 14" and it comes straight out of the wall and it has a large shower head (8") that holds a lot of water even when turned off.
The problem is that the shower droops at quite an angle and looks like it could snap/bend the pipe or joint behind the tiles. I have tried using slate with silicone to hold it up but would like to know if there is some kind of water proof cement in a mastic type holder that i can use to fill the gap that also has the strength to hold it up. If not what is the best solution please.
