The wooden farm gate in my drive is sagging a little. The gate is exactly the same as this one:

(same type of latch too).
It's only become apparently today as it now needs to be liften very slightly so that the metal latch slides over the horizontal bracket before engaging and locking.
Is there anything that I can do to put it back the way it was OR to prevent any further sagging? Obviously it's a big gate, heavy too. Must be about 10 years old.
Note: I'm no woodworker (but can turn my hand to most things), so please don't use any 'technical' woodworking terms or without explaining them fully.
Thanks
