Looking for some advice on a new Salamander Homeboost I've recently had fitted.
Measuring from the kitchen tap, I get around 4 l/min without the pump, and about 8 l/min with the pump running (so a fair improvement). The pump ramps up to high speed when the tap is on and runs OK for a short while. It can run for about 20-30 seconds without any issues (sometimes less), but as it tends to randomly cut out and restart again.

So it's like: Standby > ramps up to full speed > intermittently cuts out for about 5 seconds > restarts and ramps up to full speed > cuts out > repeats etc.
The time it stays running for is very inconsistent, like it can run fine for 20-30 seconds before it cuts out, or it might just run for a few seconds before cutting out and then ramping up again. When it cuts out, the LED goes to fully on (standby) and then flashes in the corners (sufficient flow). So I figure it's cutting out because it thinks it's reached the max of 12 l/min, but I'm not seeing the flow get above 8 l/min.
Wondering if this is normal behaviour (not getting much help from Salamander Support)? It gets quite annoying watching the pump frequently ramping up and cutting out. When it reaches the 12 l/min max, shouldn't the pump slow down rather than just cut out completely and then ramp up again short after?
The plumber suggested that the flow rate from the mains might be too low. If the supply is somewhat "starved", would it help to put a water accummulator in front of the Homeboost pump? To make sure it's kept adequately supplied? Or maybe after the pump so that the water is stored ready for use?
