Does anyone out there know of a chemical or procedure for getting rid of the old wax that builds up over the years on terracotta tiles. The build up becomes like sticky after a while and attracts dirt so my idea is to clean them down and start again,............Ta for any help

You could try Joynes Wade Waxless Cleaning Polish - works brilliantly on wood, glass and plastic not sure about terracotta but it's certainly worth a shot.
