Samsung Ecobubble not spinning

I have a Samsung Ecobubble WF90F5E3U4W that has stopped spinning.
It does the whole wash, and rotates nicely.
Then when it gets to the end it start spinning slowly at first quite happily.
Then it seems to get to a point where it cant spin. It seems stuck in one place.

I read up that this can be caused by a load imbalance so tried everything with that, and it does the same thing with an empty load. So dont think that is the issue.

Its not going left and right, its more that it looks jammed in one place, even though we know it isn't.

Read up a little on broken spiders, but it isn't making any noises, so not sure if it can be that or not.

Is this a known issue and if so does anyone know what it is or how much? Or is it likely to be the spider? There does seem to be a bit of play in the drum, but without popping in to a shop and comparing it to another machine its difficult to say if it is normal. Or could it be the motor - it has a 10year warranty sticker for that.

And is it possible to give a rough idea on cost, or is it more economical to get a new one? Its 3 years old.

Quick update.
I took everything out of it and it completed a rinse and spin cycle.
Then put some clothes in and it got stuck before it even got to the spin cycle.

Any ideas? Is it likely to be the motor, spider or something else?
Motor says it has a 10 year warranty, so that would be nice.
 
Sounds as though the balance system is not recognising when the load is okay to spin.
 
So are you saying it will complete a rinse & spin cycle when empty, but not when loaded & will not complete a wash cycle even when empty?

You may actually have 2 problems, but if it'll rinse and spin when empty, but not when loaded, then that suggest it can't detect that it's balanced; but as it detects the load when it starts a wash cycle, it could well be the balance system being iffy that's not allowing it to do that either.
 
I have just been testing on rinse and spin. I assumed rinse was pretty much the same as wash.

Empty rinse and spin completes.
Previously it was completing the rinse, but failing the spin.
Now it even fails the rinse, and won't even empty.

Samsung agent wants 100 call out and thinks new PCB at another 230.
Local guy says 50 call out and thinks motor bushes at another 50.
However I believe the motor has 10 year warranty, but only if done by Samsung I presume.

I am really loathed to spend 330 fixing something not even 3 years old. Obviously 100 is a lot better. But if it is the motor I would need to pay the 100 to get the guarantee.

One other guy said it sounded beyond repair, parts are stupidly expensive, and that's Samsung for you.

So not sure what to do. If it's going to cost 330 would be tempted to buy something else on principal, and get a longer warranty.

I assume that it's turning on the rinse cycle, in which case it's unlikely to be the motor. Are you ringing the service department at Samsung, or is there a technical department that might give you a better idea. If Samsung do the job, then they'll repair it whatever the issues, and if it's not the PCB then you can refuse to pay; the local repair man however, will just keep charging you for whatever he does, and bullshyte you as to the problems.

Not sure I Samsung will haggle (as £100 call outs a bit steep), and it could well be the PCB not recognizing that it's balanced. Could be worth checking if you'd get the call out fee back if it's the motor though.

But yes, selling it on ebay for spares and repairs, and then getting a new one may well be your best bet.
