Samsung LE40M87BDX picture blurring and very dark

I have a problem with a Samsung LE40M87BDX where a picture is blurring and very dark but only from half screen to the right. When a picture change it moves in slow motion to the right side but only from half of the screen. Does anybody know a source of this problem?

I think you are on the wrong forum, this one is for cars. I do happen to be a retired TV engineer but don't know anything about modern sets.

If its a flat screen set no chance, if its got a CRT possible, if its got valves I will have a look at it.

Have a look for TV service forums, there used to be several.
