Samsung Side By Side Fridge With Water Dispenser

I want to plumb in one of these , the fridge is on the opposite side of the room to the water main. Is it ok to run about 10m of 1/4 inch piping to the fridge or should I do a run of copper with a short distance of 1/4 inch pipe?
Am looking for the easiest way so if there are no regs I will just use 1/4 inch all the way

run it in 15mm to the fridge, fit isolating valve then adaptor to connect to the fridge.

if you dont you may be waiting a long time for a glass of cold water

It shouldl tell you in the instructions the maximum length that you can fit it .Fitted one on about 6 metres of the plastic pipe they supplywith it and it worked perfectly, dont kink it on the bends though

I've just bought one last weekend and fitted 6m of the white pipe. No problem.
