Looking at getting work done in hallway, about 5m long 1m high. I am taking back to brick (already started). What is a rough cost for sand/cement base and then skim - over 2 days, thanks

Would it be cheaper to board and skim. It’s a gable wall on a semi-detached.

Oh, work is in North West area. Does this affect cost?

why is this work being done - is it anythin to do with damp or structurral movement?

sand and lime render with a board finish would be the best job esp as its a gable wall.
is the gable wall outside rendered?or does it need repointing?
floor joists should also be checked for rot.

Joist are okay and the outside render/dashing has been cut back/highered - it was below floor/dpc level.

For sand/lime and finish or sand/cement and finish what would be a rough cost?
