Can anyone offer advice on how to prevent using so many sanding papers with a floor sander. I am sanding a 1920's house's t+g floorboards. The papers P100's are just clogging afrer two boards and therefore not sanding after this. The floor origimnally had carpet but has been bare for the last two years.
The boards dont look like they have had any previous treatment such as wax.

Plaese help it's costing me a fortune in papers.
thanks

P100 will never do the job properly. You have to start with 40 or 60, 40 is better.

thanks, my mistake i asked for 10 coarse and four medium papers, I just counted them and they are reversed. i have four p40s.
I put one on and it did the whole floor.
thank you
