Hi, We have just bought a 60 year old house and have stripped the walks on one of the bedrooms. Over the years they have been papered and painted a number of times.
The paper has come off ok but now there is patches of exposed plaster and different paint, the walks are a bit rough.
I wanted to sand them down and then apply a base coat before painting. I'm just wondering about the sanding, should I use a electric orbital sander or do it by hand, there's a lot of wall??
Or is there another way if getting the paint off and walls smooth?
