Sandstone paint on white ceiling

Hi,
I've got a nice newly white painted ceiling, I've also got 3 nicely painted sandstone coloured walls, how ever, i have some how got some sandstone coloured paint on my ceiling, didn't notice until it had dried. What do you guys in the trade do on this situation? Re-paint the ceiling and risk getting white paint on my walls, touch it up and hope no-one will notice or try and scrape it off?

Touch up around the edges should be fine - just the same as cutting in

its not on the edge, its about 12 inch's in

I have touched up similar using a 4" roller before, and it couldn't be seen.

OK, thanks ill give it a go. Worst case scenario is i have to re-paint the ceiling which isn't really that big of a deal.

If its not long been done then it should blend in ok. Just need to feather the edges off as you apply the paint.
