Can I run a Saniflo waste direct into the sewer drain by digging a channel to the sewer manhole say 6 inches down, drill through the brick surround , and stick the saniflow waste pipe through this so it discharges into the drain? Any regs issues? For various location reasons, this is easier than routing to the soil stack.

Its going to constantly spray the inside of the inspection chamber with sewage slurry so I'd say its certainly not a good idea. Almost certainly not allowed by regulations either but I don't know for sure.

Thanks for your reply. I know it feels a bit botchery, but it’s also easy given where the toilet is. On your point, It would be simple to put a 45 degree elbow angle on the saniflo discharge pipe where it pops out into the inspection chamber and then run a pipe from that 45 elbow down to closer to the channel run at the bottom of the inspection chamber and maybe angle again so that it directs the flow in line with the flow of the sewer channel at the bottom. Would be very interested in any other views / experience in this.

Ours was done in a similar manner about 25 years ago. Never been any problem apart from the initial instalation of the Saniflo. The output pipe had to have a certain amount of up flow before it was directed downward in order to form an upside down trap and stop syphoning of all the water in the saniflow and the pan. It may not be the same for newer models but the instalation instructions should tell you that if need be.
