Why are People constantly querying Prices? If not happy with quote, get another, if gaping difference between them then ask yourself why?
Too many who think they know what a job should cost to do, but haven't got a clue how to do it themselves, hence asking the Tradesperson in the first place.....
You're not just paying for their time at your property to do the work, you're paying for the Years of training and experience which means they know how to do the job. I had a 'Multi Trade' do some jobs for me, one of which was fitting a couple of internal doors. I then had to get a Time Served Carpenter in to fit 2 more new doors, properly. At a lot higher cost.

I've never understood either.
Cheap labour isn't skilled and skilled labour isn't cheap!
