Sapele door care

I've just started replacing old, worn saplel doors with new ones. What is the best way to care for the surface pf these doors once hung?

Ther just sort of mahogany veneer doors that are hollow and cheap to buy. I paid about £20 each at a builder's merchant but you can buy them for less at B&Q and other DIY stores. I'm lead to believe the DIY shops sell a cheaper made doors but I'm not sure. Any views?
