Satxhwell TLX2356 - Honeywell dt90

I'm replacing my old thermostat with a Honeywell dt90e this weekend.

Can someone who may have done the exact swap confirm the wiring arrangements? The dt90e only had 2 wires whereas the current thermostat has 4. Current thermostat is below

I believe the neutral and earth wires are no longer required. What do I do to them in order to make them safe before 'shoving them back in the wall'?

That's correct, just terminate them safely, normally in some terminal strip and tuck them away neatly .
