As the title suggests! I have a citroen saxo, works fine unless I'm on the motorway. When approaching 70 mph the car judders and wont go any faster.
Also - not sure if this is related, but when taking corners at a bit of speed (not too much 20mph +) there is a knocking noise that sounds like it coming from the front wheel.

Can anyone help me solve this?

Thanks
Luke.

sounds like a buggered CV joint.

could also be the cause of the judders at high speed if it is totally frigged  .

if you turn a left corner and it knocks... then its the right CV that needs replaced and vice versa.

try a new CV joint for deff, you do need that. and see if it cures the high speed judders.

let us know how it goes :D

Thanks, CV joint - Is that dangerous?
I dont have the money to get anything fixed right now, any ideas if it's expensive to replace?

Thanks for your help

Could be a duff tyre too.
Do a diagonal swap of the tyres (front n/s to rear o/s etc) and see if that cures it
