Scaffold tower DIY. What height platform ?

I intend buying a DIY scaffold tower, for painting the outside of the house. The roof gutter height is only 16 feet. I am 5'9" tall so I am assuming a tower with a platform height of 12 feet (at the most) will be adequate.
Looking for confirmation or otherwise.

At my local builders merchants you can buy three different sizes individually, so you just buy what you need.

Remember to allow for a handrail around the top lift.
