Scantronic i-on40 Speech Dialler

Hi there

Does anyone know whether I can use the i-sd01 speech dialler on the i-on40 alarm panel? It is cheaper and I just wanted to check whether it will work instead of the more expensive i-sd02.

As far as I can tell from the manual you need the SD02 for the i40.

as the units plug onto the main board. Not familar with these units so if anyone knows different please let us know, I will ask coopers support team

I have been told that the i-sd01 will work in the i-on40 but I cannot see why they would make the i-sd02 if that was the case.

Can anyone please confirm as the two modules look identical.

You CAN'T use the i-sd01 on an i-ON40

Sorry, you need the i-sd02.

(You'll stuggle to get Cooper Security to talk to you...)
