We've just bought one, it's remarkably configurable, but I just cannot see any obvious way to set up a schedule, or schedule a recording, despite supporting a minimum of 16Gb usb device. It claims to be able to pause live play, for up to 90 minutes. No mention of the word schedule in the instructions. Surely, it's a very basic thing to need on a Smart set?

It calls itself a Sharp Roku, set, and you have to set up a Roku account, as part of the setup.

I may be wrong, but I can't see anything in the datasheet to suggest it can record programmes.
Recording content on removable media is tricky regarding rights.
For example, on LG TVs (It's probably the same on most recording capable TVs), the memory stick is encrypted, so that it's 'impossible' for any recorded programmes to be played back on another device.
Live pause and playback, is a different proposition.

OK, but not even the possibility to have the TV remind you with a schedule, that something you intend to watch is on?

I can't find anything in the manual for scheduling; without a recording function and with Freeview play, they may have not bothered!
I wonder if the Alexa/Google Assistant/Roku App integration can be coaxed to schedule anything?
