Scrappage for old windows, is it going to happen soon?

Does anyone know of any goverment inside information as to weather a scrappage scheme is pending for my old wood windows to be replace with "C rated pvc ones, some companys are advertising there own type of scheme, but I feel as though this is just a sales ploy.

The windows scrappage scheme is so far an IDEA from the GGF (Glass and glazing federation). They have put a petition together and submitted it to the government who will probably make a decision in twenty thousand years time.

Companies have cottoned onto this petition and made up their own in-house scrappage theme which technically is sales sloblocks.

any scheme that may exist in the future would surely not be for C rated products anyway.
