I meant to say that the screed has been kept in water to keep the material wet and hopefully prevent the cement from curingIf it’s soft remove it .
Does anyone have any ideas how i can get this off?
Probably doesn’t own a bucket .Good job, out of interest how did you get screed in the bath?
I'm a lot of things... stubborn, sarcastic, a neanderthal.. However, I am NOT a complete amateur ,Probably doesn’t own a bucket .
is brick acid (i.e. hydrochloric acid), 'safe' in a steel bath tub?brick acid will dissolve the cement that binds it together, but you seem to have got past that now.
That was the root cause of the problem; a misunderstanding that cement goes hard because it dries out.hopefully prevent the cement from curing
