Sorry 4 the stupid question. Can you please explain to me the difference between concrete floor and screed? I thought a solid floor was made of concrete but people often refer to it as screed. Is screed probably a finishing layer that you apply on concrete floor? Thank you.

yes the screed is a 50-80mm finishing layer that is applied on top of the floor slab.
it is mixed using 3 parts sharp sand ( grit sand, screed sand) and 1 cement.
