Hello this tiny project is my first. I have a stud wall in my bedroom.I'm putting up a television bracket could u tell me what the propa screws are that I have to buy please
Are you able to find the studs, Pauline?
There's a chance when you drill any holes in your wall, you'll find fresh air - and you'll need hollow wall fixings for that.
John
Ideally if you had already planned to secure a TV to the wall prior to construction of the stud wall, you should installed stud work to fix to. I would not fancy trying to secure a TV and mount bracket to a hollow wall. Best option would be to open the wall up and fit timbers to secure to.

Okay my misunderstanding! The same applies though, hollow walls are not a good structure to secure tv and wall bracket to, ideally a stud(s)/noggin(s) would be best fixed to, there are hollow way anchor fixings but I would not rely on this to hang a weighty object to. The best option would be to break in to the wall and position some secure fixing points within wall.
