I'm having a couple of small budget (no openings @ 640mm x 1040mm) windows delivered to replace the disintegrating wooden frame ones at the back of my detached garage.
Already got my packers, sealant, expanding foam etc.
What I don't have yet are the two type of screws, one to fix the windows to the brick wall and the other to fix the sill to the frame.
For the brick wall, I like the ones where you don't need any plugs but not sure on the size. Would this be the correct size? Seems good value if I get the extra stuff too.
The screws that'll be needed to fix the sill to the frame I'm not sure about. Seems to be self-tapping but is the type of head important and what length?
Thanks very much.
