Hi,
looking for some advice, I bought our house 18 months ago, and it is a mixture between Wet Plastered (predominately downstairs) and Stud walls upstairs. The problem basically is that in a lot of areas - in fact the majority of the stud walls - the scrim tape is pulling/pulled away from the walls and ceilings where the wood in the studding has shrunk, so basically, how do I repair it?? Does the scrim tape need cutting out and replacing - or cut out and fill. Also, would you say this was within the realms of "ongoing" maintenance as the NHBC and builder like to quote.
This is a 5 bedroom house, and every room needs doing, some over 50% of the studding in there
Thanks for any responses and advice in advance
Steve
