Coring through a wall yesterday my short arbour sheered off. Anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Also, does anyone know how I can get the remains of the arbour out of the SDS chuck or is the drill junk now?

how far is it sticking out? with some drills you can remove the chuck, oull it back as tho its in the drill and your removing the bit then push it out with screwdriver/something similar

If you release the SDS chiuck gears, then the remains of the arbour should fall out..it may need a little persuasion with a tap to the back of the drill whilst pointing at the ground..but it should come out.

If it does not, take it to a tool repair shop, the chuck may be knackered, but the drill won't be.

The sheered off arbour isn't accessible or visible at all. Actually the chances of anything falling out are nill as I always had a bit of a struggle getting whatever bit I was using out of the chuck.

Knackered drill I think - thanks for all the advice.
