sealant

Hi
I have a walnut worktop which is oiled, the sink is set below the worktop like a butler sink and the worktop runs just over the edge of the sink, my question is what do I use to seal between the sink and worktop? Would a sealant stick to oiled wood?. Also is clear sealant avalable and OK.
