where it exits the wall?

In my bathroom I have a shower cubicle where there is a "false wall" (can't think of the correct words!), where the water pipe runs up behind then to the shower unit from behind.

I'm about to do a refurb on the bathroom and was thinking of having the water feed exit the wall then a chrome pipe up to the shower unit. What's the best way to do this so it's all sealed and no water can run back inside the wall? Any particular fittings on the market for this?

Many thanks

Chrome pipe with compression fittings and then a couple of chrome pipe hole covers, siliconed onto the wall and sealed to the pipe should do the job.
