I'm after some advice, I have just tiled the kitchen with these tiles and now need to get on with the grouting.

However, I'm concearned that I should maybe seal the tiles prior to grouting in order to ease the removal of the grout film and prevent future staining.

Is this correct or should I not bother with sealing at all? Could I not just grout the tiles and then use a marble cement/grout film remover?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you must seal the tiles to prevent staining. Before you grout the tiles you will need to make sure they are clean and dry, then give them one coat of sealant - Lithofin Stain Stop is one of the best (Lithofin make excellent products and provide technical advice), allow the sealant to penetrate the stone for a couple of hours then remove any surplus sealant. Grout your tiles, once the grout is dry any residue can be cleaned using Lithofin Power Clean. When the tiles are clean and dry (do make sure they are as once sealed any marks are not easy to remove) apply another coat of stain stop, as the tiles are polished it takes longer for the sealant to soak in so apply generously. Leave for at least 3-4 hours until it is obvious no more produst is being absorbed. Remove any excess before it dries on the surface as it will be difficult to remove once dry. The tiles will now be completely stain resistant. For added protection you can use Lithofin Care Sheen which is a acylic/wax polish. Hope this helps, best of luck.
