what is the best way of sealing new plaster, i have just plastered a partial wall, and still waiting for it to dry, and i have heard there are so many different ways of sealing the plaster but i would like to know the best way, thank you

Aye, mist coat with about 20% water to emulsion, leave to dry then crack on with full strength.
Mist coat is also handy as it helps show up any minor imperfections which you can fill prior to top coats, but I would also touch up any filling with the mist coat as it can show through
