I am currently converting our loft and we are installing insulation between and under the rafters. The insulation literature states that where the insulation boards abut walls the joint should be sealed to maintain the vapour control layer. I've contacted them and they say i should use a 'low modulous' sealant (not bathroom sealant) but i've spoken to a sealant manufacturer and they say none of their products are suitable. Has anyone got any recommendations as to what sealant they have used?
