Sealing Threaded fittings -help please

Hi,

I am trying to seal fittings into an accumulator tank with steel parallel connections and keep getting leak when air testing to 1 bar.

There are various fittings ranging from Brass bosses to cast iron plugs and sizes from 3/4 to 2" BSP.

I have tried PTFE tape and Boss Super Green (but not with Hemp) but having no joy.

Can any of you with more experience give me tips on what to use and directions of how to apply properly. Thanks.

I've always got on well with VIRGIN WHITE, it's specifically designed for steel and cast. Don't get it on your fingers though, it comes with a brush!
