Recently had some new engineered oak doors (XL Joinery type) fitted. A couple of doors had to be cut beyond the bottom 6mm veneer to leave the composite filling visible. What is the best way to seal the bottom edge to prevent moisture getting into the door? Thanks - D

Should be decorated/sealed all round before fitting, should not be trimmed as usually made to measure.
