the last time i used these "crazy effects" on my phone was . . . . erm . . . well . . . oh i remember, the first day i got it!

Such effects cost the manufacturer next to nowt, but provide "wow" factor for naive people who then think they've got a really fab device - until someone comes along with fullscreen photos from their Sony Ericsson K750i ;)

or even the K800i (polishes finger nails on lapel)

I've got an N73. Bloody good photo's, possibly the best phone I've ever owned. (Although I'm too much of a wimp to move away from Nokia, I'd never work out how to use a Sony or Motorola)

I might go for one of those phones, just for the 3.2 megapixel camera.
I keep leaving the brochure laying around in case anyone is short of ideas for christmas pressies. :D

Sony ericsson phones are a very good phone to use, IMO. logical controls and easy to navigate. The K750i however, is starting to let me down - the joystick seems to navigate where it wants to and is driving me mad, especially in texts when selecting what word i want.

RichardP, my next phone will be a K800i ;) (if thats the one with the proper camera flash and 3.2mp camera)

I'm a born & bred Nokia fan, and I struggle with anything else, too!!

I reckon I must have the worst phone, it's a Nokia something or other, it has a plain black and grey LCD screen, no camera, no radio, no MP3 player, no games or extras at all, oh, and when someone phones me I can't hear what they're saying either :D I suppose I should change it, but I must be the most ungadgety person in the world, I reckon it comes from years of farting around with IT gadgets and gizmos.

Also, on this vein, I have to confess that I have never owned a camera in my life, or indeed a watch. I'm odd :(

thats not a phone thats your alarm clock ringing, stop trying to answer it!

Eddie
no watch? me either, I can't bear the feeling of them on my wrist, the only time its a problem is when you want to know the time,
and when your abroad these guys selling watches spot you from a mile off and make a bee line for you, I got so fed up once that I drew one on my wrist, next time I was accosted I showed him my watch and walked on looking back, he looked confused and a bit frightened. ;)

I never understand why everyone always seems to want to know the time? Anyhow, not having a watch seems to allow me to know roughly, to within quarter of an hour, what the time is anyway.
