Hi chaps,
a nice quick and easy question for seasoned roofers. Im doing a design detail for a dormer window, which is clad in rock panel, but will require flashing at the raking abutment.
The tiles will be Marley Modern Duo concrete interlocking and the roof pitch 38 degrees. I do not want a cover flashing over the tiles as i think this looks awful especially over flat profiled tiles at short length abutments.
This leaves 2 options:
A secret gutter
B lead soakers
What is the cheaper method and or the better method?

P.s at long raking abutments i would always use secret gutter with cover flashing also if high exposure.
