Hi wondering if any one can help iv got a sectional garage the roof is pitched and the cement boards are leaking i was wondering if i can reroof it with spanish slate just wondering if it would hold the weight

The shot answer is yes. But yes a but. You will need to form a new timber roof structure on the garage to carry the new slate. I would think it would just be simpler to go and buy new cement sheet roofing that is a direct replacement for what you have already. Look for a trade roofing supplier in your local area. Fred

Iv got 2 metal roof trusses but they bolt up.on the inside of concrete panels and 4 wooden beams that go from one end of the garage to the other so would that be ok or do i need to replace all
