Hi,
I have recently come home to find that one of my "secure" uPVC casement windows had been forced by using a crowbar/screwdriver from the outside and - in police jargon - "popping" the window. I had always been under the misapprehension that these opening windows were reasonably safe from forcing - when used in conjunction with the integral allen bolt in the handle! Obviously I was wrong and paid the price! Does anyone out there have any recommendation how I can beef up the security of these windows in the future? I suggested a handle with a longer tip but have been told that what I have is standard. I have also been told that Chubb make a 2 part window lock which is secure (!) and can be easily fitted. Any help will be gratefully received. TIA
Jock
