Security grilles

I need to remove security grilles from the windows of our flat. See my album for pics.

angle grinder, cut the legs off close to the wall.

It will be easier to get the screws or fixings for the brackets out of the wall afterwards. They may be steel rods passing into or through the wall, the wall would be damaged if you just tried to yank them out. Look for screw heads or nuts inside or out, possibly plastered over.
