Is there any software I can use to see what my house would look like if I had the top half weather boarded?

For instance I could upload a photo of my house and add the features to it to see what it would look like.

I would like to weather board to top half using Cedral weather board and to be able to change the colours to choose which I like the best.

Why would anyone want to do such a thing to their house?

Buy yes, photoshop etc would do the trick!

Would you even be allowed to do it? Many new estates have restrictions on what alterations you can make to the front of a property.

Sketch Up, but you'll have a steep learning curve, but once mastered you will be able to do a virtual walk around and through the internals, as I say a steep learning curve if your willing...pinenot

The learning curve for sketch up is flat, not steep. But it is for 3d modelling, not image manipulation and is totally inappropriate for the OP
