I had a leaking pipe in the bathroom.
So, vinyl up, ply covering cut, floorboards up etc.
I've now made good the floor, replaced the damaged ply and taped the join and thought I'd have a go with self adhesive vinyl tiles rather than the sheet lino which was down before (and was ruined getting to the leak).
Do I need to do anything to the ply first? It's smooth and joins have been taped. It's not screwed down though. Primer before tiles? If so, what to use? Previous lino was just loose laid with very sticky tape around the edges.
Any simple novice problems to avoid?
Any particular brands better than others?
All help appreciated...
